Immanuel, The Gift

Precious Gift,
The swaddled Babe;
in a lowly manger,
glory was on display.
The shepherds whispered.
The cattle moaned.
The sheep bleated.
The donkeys bellowed.
All of creation had been waiting,
long anticipating
for The Savior to be born.

And on a long, dark night
the Son of God came;
shining bright,
more magnificent than
the first ray of sun light
in the morn.
Immanuel, Immanuel
The Answer to all,
The Antidote to the Fall,
The Dispatch to brokenness’ call.
The Hero of heroes has been born.

Immanuel, Immanuel,
”God with us”
is His Name..
Jesus Christ,
Eternal life
to all the world
He gave.
